There is free parking on-site, although you don't necessarily need a car there. Popular hotels by the beach in Key West include The Capitana Key West, Sunset Key Cottages, and Hyatt Residence Club Key West, Windward Pointe. Some of the pricier rooms upstairs have ocean views. I'm sure the rates may have gone up somewhat since the last time I was there. It is run by a really nice woman named Mona Santiago. The rooms aren't fancy, but they are comfortable, spotless, and all have TVs, A/C, phones, small refrigerators and coffeemakers. It's a historic house at the quiet end of the main street in town (Duval), across the street from a small beach and a short 10-15 minute walk to the area with most of the restaurants, shops, etc. The place was written up in Frommers, and it's called the Southernmost Point Guest House.
